Report: Onboarding Exchange Limitations on jup.ag/onboard

To: Product/Onboarding Team

Subject: Limited Exchange Options for Fund Transfers on Onboarding Page

Observation:

The “Transfer funds from Exchanges” section on the jup.ag/onboard platform currently highlights only Coinbase and Binance as options for direct fund transfers to a Solana wallet.

Concern:

This limited selection raises a question regarding the absence of other prominent and widely used centralized exchanges, such as Bybit, and potentially others not listed.

Impact:

Restricting the listed exchanges to just two might limit user choice and could potentially detract from the stated goal of providing “the easiest way to get started on Solana” for users who primarily utilize other platforms.

Recommendation:

I recommend reviewing the current list of exchanges featured for direct fund transfers on jup.ag/onboard. Consideration should be given to expanding this list to include other major centralized exchanges (e.g., Bybit) to enhance user convenience and broaden accessibility for a wider range of users.

I think if the two exchanged integrated is majorly accessible in all regions is okay too have many or unmanaged centralised exchange. Quality over quantity.

“Quality over quantity”

Thank being said, it is worthy of notice, that each of these exchanges are with there users who might feel like onboarding to DEX via jup.

However, certain restrictions are on users from country to country meaning not all countries CEX users use Binance and Coinbase only.

That’s the point of raising this alarm

I can see the issue you’re raising but I think Binance is generally available every in the world. The Main issue regarding some lower exchange is poor customer service when issues arise.
