Micro Grant Proposal: JUP Collab (Juppy) – Community Hub for Missions, Memes & NFTs

What is JUP Collab (Juppy)?

JUP Collab is a centralized platform where all Web3 projects, NFT collections and meme token communities can start collaborations, where users can earn XP by doing tasks and receive JUP rewards.

Today, each project campaigns separately via X (Twitter), Discord or form links. This is both tiring for users and disorganized for projects. JUP Collab unifies this whole process under one roof.

Imagine: Thousands of Web3 projects from Solana to Ethereum, from Bera to Abstract and others are launching collabs and giveaways in a single center. Hundreds of thousands of users are doing tasks. All these interactions are rewarded with JUP. The result: JUP is more recognized, used and owned.

:wrench: How Does It Work?

:bullseye: Design Prototype Demo

An early-stage demo based on the initial UI design is available:

This version includes only the frontend layout with limited functionality. Many pages and features are still under development. The goal is to give users a clear preview of the product’s look and feel.

:busts_in_silhouette: For whom and what problems does it solve?

:white_check_mark: For Project Owners:

  • No more separate collaboration search, form filling and DM traffic on X and Discord.
  • One-click collab launch
  • Easy access to the target audience
  • Receiving JUP rewards for XP
  • Monitor and analyze Collab data
  • Premium positioning and increased visibility

:white_check_mark: For Users:

  • Track all tasks and rewards from one centralized location
  • Earning XP → Receiving JUP rewards
  • Profile badge, ranking and engagement boost
  • Gain advantages with premium features (XP boost, mission skip, early access)
  • Content sharing and XP collection space for meme makers

:brain: Why is it Different?

  • Mission → XP → JUP → Badge → Level → Status cycle
  • Projects → Open Collab → Earn XP → Get JUP
  • Users → Do a task → Earn XP → Get JUP
  • Centralized Web3 dashboard supporting all chains
  • JUP staking incentive with premium membership
  • Creative space for creators

:link: JUP Collab’s Contributions to Jupiter DAO

JUP Collab is not just a product, but a social infrastructure that will add long-term value to the Jupiter DAO ecosystem:

  • It increases JUP usage: Staking JUP is required to earn XP by completing tasks and to access premium features. This creates a strong usage and retention incentive for JUP.
  • Introduces users from different chains to Jupiter: Thousands of new users are introduced to the JUP token through collabs with projects on networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Bera, ApeChain, Abstract, etc.
  • Unites communities: Projects and users meet on common tasks, with the Jupiter DAO at the center.
  • Aligned with the DAO’s values: Supports the DAO’s vision of co-creation with a system centered on participation, contribution and rewards.
  • Provides data and insights: Data such as which projects receive how much interaction, which types of tasks are completed more, etc. contribute to the DAO’s decision-making processes.
  • Opens new ways of contribution: It creates new spaces for not only developers but also community managers, collab managers and content creators to contribute.

:world_map: Roadmap

Phase 1 - MVP Development (Micro Grant)

It will be completed in 3-4 weeks.

  • Wallet connection, user creation
  • Collab opening and task creation panel
  • User panel: task participation, XP earning
  • XP system and leaderboard
  • Badge/profile pages
  • Basic UI/UX + backend infrastructure

Phase 2 - Expansion and JUP Integrations (After Trial WG Application)

Once Phase 1 is completed, a more comprehensive proposal will be submitted to the Trial Working Group. Goals in this phase:

  • Premium membership with JUP staking
  • Mission skip, XP boost, early access
  • Content sharing space + competitions
  • Advanced task verification (X API, Discord bot)
  • JUP prize pool mechanism
  • Advanced moderation and analysis tools for projects
  • Possible integration with JUP Mobile

:wrench: What will be developed in MVP (Phase 1 - Micro Grant)

This first phase will be completed in 3-4 weeks with Micro Grant support from JUP DAO. The goal is to implement an MVP where the basic product cycle works, get feedback from the community and shape the product together.

:package: Phase 1 MVP Coverage:

  • Wallet connection (JUP Mobile, Phantom, Metamask etc.) and user creation
  • Collab Manager panel where projects can start a collab with a task or whitelist draw
  • Collab discovery and engagement interface where users can create tasks
  • XP system and leaderboard (for both users and projects)
  • Profile page, badge earning, basic reward screen
  • Backend infrastructure and database
  • UI and functional structures of all basic pages (Dashboard, Collab, Leaderboard, Profile, Rewards)

What will happen with this MVP:

  • Projects can launch their own collabs and define tasks.
  • Users complete tasks and earn XP.
  • Rankings and badges are displayed based on XP.
  • Projects access real-time engagement metrics from their dashboards.

:mobile_phone_with_arrow: Mobile Plans

In the first phase, it will be developed to work only on the web. However, in the long term, a mobile compatible version and, if possible, JUP Mobile integration is targeted.

Especially with the notification system, it will be ensured that users “do not miss any collab”.

:money_with_wings: Earning and Economy Model

The platform will transition to a self-sufficient economy model in the long term.

JUP Stake → Premium feature access

  • Users: Mission skipping, XP boost, early access
  • Projects Boosted collab, analytics tools, visibility advantage

Staked JUP tokens are not returned. This takes JUP out of circulation and creates real use cases.

Team

  • The core team behind the project consists of 3 people:

  • Yeager - Founder & Product Lead

A Computer Engineering graduate and seasoned product & frontend developer with 8 years of experience in software development. An active Web3 user since 2017, Yeager has been deeply involved in the Solana ecosystem from its early days as a “degen,” and is a long-time JUP token holder, JUP staker, and Jupiter DAO member. He has successfully built NFT marketplaces, staking platforms, and launchpads from scratch. As the founder and product lead of the JUP Collab project, Yeager is responsible for the overall product vision, frontend development, UX/UI design, mobile experience, community onboarding, and collaborations. He will also manage DAO relations and ensure alignment with Jupiter’s ecosystem goals.

  • Esaldor - Backend & Infrastructure Lead

An experienced full-stack engineer with 8 years of development background, Esaldor has worked with Yeager on various blockchain-based projects. In JUP Collab, he will lead backend architecture, DevOps, smart contract integration and technical scalability. His focus will be on ensuring the platform’s performance, security, and seamless infrastructure management.

  • Bist - Frontend & Integration Engineer

A Computer Engineering graduate specialized in frontend development and third-party integrations. In JUP Collab, Bist will be responsible for frontend implementation, Discord/Telegram/X integrations, wallet connections, and Web3 user interface layers. His role bridges the gap between the frontend and external community tools, enhancing user engagement and growth.

:bullseye: Conclusion and Call

JUP Collab is not just a task platform it’s a tool designed to unite fragmented Web3 communities under the Jupiter ecosystem.

In this first phase, we’re focused on launching a working MVP and evolving the product together with the community.

Our goal is to make Jupiter the default hub for Web3 collaborations across all chains and Juppy the tool that makes it fun, rewarding, and seamless.

Thank you for reading and considering our proposal,
we truly appreciate your time and support. :heart_hands:

Your comments and feedback will directly shape the future of this product and its alignment with Jupiter DAO’s mission.

We’ll be sharing a more detailed and long-term proposal after the MVP is live and tested.
Until then, your insights are critical in helping us build something impactful for the Jupiverse.

Looks like a solid , thought through idea. Interested to see if others feel this has a place in the Jupiverse.

In terms of assisting to grow the Jupiverse, it could serve as a means to reach across Web3 communities and bring an additional utility to the JUP token.

Nice proposal but where will incentive jup come from when team have organised yearly events of jupnuary that requires users to use different kind of jupiverse products and how will they Airdrop without diluting the token?

Thanks! Great question. For the initial phase, we’re considering a one-time JUP allocation from the DAO (500K–1M JUP) purely as an incentive to onboard early users and projects.

Long-term, projects will stake JUP monthly (~$50) to create collabs, and users will stake JUP ($5–10) for premium features and reward eligibility. This model creates a self-sustaining loop where staked JUP fuels rewards and utility without requiring ongoing dilution.

We’re exploring this as a way to bootstrap growth and transition into a sustainable JUP-native economy.

Good thread, how does this benefit the existing users, community and investors who stake jup before this proposal, how did you want to reward them to new users you’re targeting as your target audience ?

Great question. Users who already stake a significant amount of JUP (e.g. 2,000+) will automatically receive premium access on Juppy, without paying extra. This is our way of rewarding long-term JUP supporters.

For others, there will be a simple monthly premium option (e.g. $10 worth of JUP) making the platform accessible to everyone.

This model ensures:

  • Existing stakers benefit from their commitment
  • New users can access premium features easily
  • And the platform sustains itself through JUP-based utility and recurring staking

In short, the more active you are with JUP either by staking or using the platform the more value you get.

The more projects you engage with, the more XP and monthly JUP rewards you earn.

It’s designed to benefit early JUP stakers, giving them direct access to new launches and a stronger role in the expanding ecosystem.

Love the idea here! A clean, centralized space for collabs is long overdue — and this approach feels lightweight enough to actually get adopted.

One suggestion: no need to force everything onchain at first. Letting people join with their Jupiverse account would lower the barrier a lot, especially for casual users.

Excited to see how this evolves!

We’re generally pro experimentation, especially on the marketing front. Something related that we’d also like to see more of is marketing support from the Jupiter team. When new projects launch or initiatives are undertaken, some cross marketing initiatives such as twitter spaces, retweets, community spotlights would also help support the builders within the community.

Yes, we completely agree. Jupiverse account login is exactly what we’re aiming for in the MVP. The goal is to keep things super accessible while building out the structure.

Appreciate the kind words and support, can’t wait to show more soon!

Thanks for the feedback! Once we have something tangible, we hope to receive that kind of support from Jupiter. For now, our focus is on launching an accessible MVP. We’re working on our marketing plans and aim to reach this stage in a short time.

Great, looking forward to seeing more info about the marketing plan. In our experience marketing is usually the achilles heel of most builders in the space so any assistance on that front could be really high leverage.
