In the DAO, you decide what gets voted on, while we are just the option.
Maybe we could switch to a permissionless voting system instead. For example, there could be certain criteria, and proposals that meet those criteria could be put to a vote each week.
What comes to my mind is connecting a wallet to jupresear.ch and adding a “Should we vote on this?” button under each topic, allowing users to vote “Yes” or “No”.
Each week, the topic with the most votes—after passing your review—could be brought to an official vote.
i really like this idea! Jupresearch is all about sharing ideas and giving feedback to the team in a more organized way. So voting yes/no would be really useful, the team can know what the community want.
Oh, we don’t really need to know the relationship between people in favor and people not in favor. A proposal with a large number of votes on it is something the community cares about. If it’s also something we could potentially refine into a vote, it would be settled then.
Voting for proposals is not to gather which way people lean on it, but if people care about it, if that makes sense. It will be settled in the ballet box if it comes to that.
