Addressing $JUP’s Core Concerns and the Team’s Reply (re:Truth about $JUP)

Community Treasury Usage: Paradoxically, despite claims of ample revenue, the community has been tapped to fund what many assumed the team’s share would cover. For example, the DAO approved ~$7M from its treasury to pay four team members’ salaries in 2024 (A Large Holder’s Concerns: Sustainability, Dilution, and the March 10 Vote - Jupiter DAO - Jupiter Research) – a decision that caused backlash in the forums. If the team had $10M+ in its own war chest and ongoing profits, why were community funds needed to cover core salaries? This feels like a shell game: give $10M to the DAO with one hand, then take $7M back for team pay with the other. The team’s reply doesn’t acknowledge this incident at all. We deserve an explanation of why community money was used to bankroll team compensation if the project is financially self-sufficient.

Idk about the rest, but this never happened, and not sure what you are referring to. The community never had to pay any team members’ salaries.

Any payment made from DAO/community went to DAO/community members.
