Yeah for sure! Like I said it’s gonna be a 12 week trial. If we fail we move on

If we succeeded we supersede it!

You raise a great point!

I’ve been apart of other groups where raiding gets very labouring for the community where chat is spammed.

My solution is the following:

  1. Posts to raid will be moderated by @rb87 and myself. We will make clear guidelines for what post may be submitted to the group. I.e. the post must have two of the following elements bellow

-At least two sentences of text

  • A photo
  • A thread
  • A gif
  • A quote
  • A link to a Jupiter product
  • A question
  • … more to be added

If you have at least two elements: you post is raid-able

  1. Those who post spam, unrelated jup content, insignificant raids will be banned or told to stop.

  2. Failure to comply with rules will make you disqualified from $jup bounty prizes each week.

  3. @rb87 and myself will delete posts that arent worth being raided.

  4. We will set a limit of home many posts we will allow to be submitted in a 24 hour window: such as 10; 20; 25 ect. We’lll seek dao comment on how many people are willing to do each day.

These are brief points that I feel will combat that issue. But tbh, we will live and we will learn as it progresses. It’s hard to combat issue proactively sometimes so we will need to see it pan out.

Trial by fire :fire:

Thank you so much for your feedback! It means a lot.

Lmk your thoughts?

Yes! 100%

I definitely get the ick when I see people commenting on my posts telling my to buy their shitcoin or nft!

You are right! It needs to be targeted on specific posts without being bots

Thanks for the feedback homie

Totally agree. We’re all in on this project :heart_eyes_cat: :rocket:, but let’s be real: a little extra motivation never hurts! Some kinda incentive is always needed, even a small one like the one we asked for, can go a long way in keeping the fires burning and the raids rolling  :muscle:

Exactly! Sometimes the most straightforward strategies are the most effective. Let us show 'em what a good old-fashioned raid can do!

I couldn’t agree more with @lochie2001 ! Spammy raids can ruin the fun for everyone. Moderation and guidelines are great ways to keep things focused and enjoyable, especially if those are done in a fun enviroment. We will surely try to do our best to make these raids a success :heart_eyes_cat: :muscle:.

To me this is a no brainer approval!!! Your dedication to the Jupiverse is already renown. You have shown the importance JUP has to you by the posts, replies etc. here, Discord and Twitter. The people behind the proposal are solid great start. Next the proposal. I think a phenomenal idea as well. As it has been stated it isn’t an expensive proposal but the idea behind it can bring tremendous value. 100 JUP a week for your time is definitely fair. The reward can be tremendous. Anything that gets the JUP brand out there is a great idea. Having a Raider of the week is a great idea too, as it encourages competitive posts that add value. I wanted to critique the hell out of it like your twitter post states, but I think it is a solid idea that we definitely need for JUP!!!

WOW ! omg thank you so much Rico, that literally warms my heart! thanks for the kind words Rb and myself will be the ultimate Duo!

Thank was my main goal. Ive seen other WG proposals ask for 10’s of thousands for soemthing not relevant to JUP - or something that mods are already doing as their normal duties.

Yes 100% the idea behind this is to want people to FOMO and want to join our group. I also would feel bad if RB and myself took $100 a week each and gave nothing to those putting in effort too! Id even consider giving from my own personal portfolio to those who go above and beyond!

Once again RICO, thank you for the support. if there is anything you think could be improved, or any ideas you have please share! i dont take criticism as a personal attack, i take it as feedback to improve. J4J

I would suggest to expand a bit. For instance, Skynet (Certik platform) could be raided by voting secure to Jupiter. In general, wherever the community can support a project a raid could be worth doing

ive never heard of them before, could you elaborate on it :)?

The only thing I can think of is maybe lay out criteria for measuring success. I know that is kind of difficult, but it may be a way to justify or prove success after the trial.

This is good! Now that we now have jupiverse channel on twitter this proposal can work alignment with the jupiverse channel on X, I hope good measure should be put in place for abusing raiding and spamming system.

In short, there are platforms giving “scores” to projects from different point of views. The example of Skynet (owned by Certik) was just to say that a raid of the JUP community going here and give Jupiter a high score in security can bring attention (and trust in this specific case). But there are CMC, Coingecko and tons of others

I support the idea of this team cause they truly want to contribute, help expand the JUP ecosystem. Not sure if the grant will pass, but we need more people with this kind of mindset. You can’t fail if you don’t quit. :fire:
