Working Group (WG) Grant Application: Jupiter Raiders!

Working Group (WG) Grant Application: Jupiter Raids Squad

Mission:
The “Jupiter Raids Squad” is a Duo of dedicated Cadets working to improve exposure for Jupiter-related posts on X. Our mission is to ensure that any Jupiter-related content posted by Cadets gains the engagement it deserves through targeted and consistent raiding strategies.

Who are the WG leaders?
Lochie2001 – Based in Australia :australia:

.rb87 – Based in Romania :romania:

Having both Europe and Oceanic timelines covered, we could ensure a WG leader is active almost all the time.

Activity Ground:
X Social Media Platform

What is the WG?
The Jupiter Raids Squad WG consists of two Cadets focused on enhancing the exposure of Jupiter-related posts on X. As a team, members can submit their X tweets to the squad (via an exclusive group chat), and we will ensure they receive the engagement needed to maximize their visibility and impact.

Tactics include:
Posts: Crafting customized posts with the goal of shilling $JUP.
Retweeting: Sharing Jupiter-related content with followers and larger accounts familiar with $JUP.
Liking Tweets: Supporting Jupiter-related tweets by liking them to boost engagement and visibility.
Commenting: Engaging with thoughtful comments and questions on Jupiter-related content to foster discussions and build visibility.

Overall Goal:
To increase the overall presence of Jupiter Cadets on X and ensure their $JUP posts gain maximum engagement.

The Goal of the Raids Group:
• Increase visibility: Create buzz, generate conversations, and influence trends where possible. This will ensure that Jupiter Cadets always maintain relevance on the X timeline.
• Maintain relevance: By consistently engaging with posts, we will ensure that Jupiter and its ecosystem are always visible on X, keeping the project at the forefront of conversations.

Benefits the Jup Raiders Could Bring to the Project:
Increase Visibility: More people will see $JUP on their timeline, leading to potential FOMO and increased interest in the project. The more exposure Jupiter gets, the higher the likelihood of attracting new users.
Community Engagement: Organizing regular raids fosters a sense of community and belonging among Jupiter users. While Jupiter’s community engagement is already strong, there’s always room for improvement and deeper connections.
Influencer Outreach: Consistent raids will engage influencers in the crypto space, potentially leading to collaborations or partnerships. While engaging with influencers can be tricky, the more they see the strength of the Jupiter community, the more likely they are to take notice and engage with us.
Brand Awareness: Regular raids will strengthen Jupiter’s brand presence and recognition, associating it with positive activities and a strong community.
X Payment: By growing their presence on X, Cadets could potentially begin to earn revenue through X’s creator payment program. Seeing fellow Cadets grow their accounts and gain rewards will motivate others to join and be a part of the raid squad.

How We’ll Achieve This:

  1. Set Clear Goals:
We will ensure that the posts raided are meaningful and impactful. There will be moderation involved in determining which posts get promoted. Basic posts like “I love $JUP” won’t be enough—we’ll need visuals, threads, or other high-quality content to make a real impact.
  2. Regular Raids:
We will schedule regular raids to maintain momentum and keep the community engaged. To prevent raider fatigue, we will incentivize participation with weekly prizes for 1-2 raiders (discussed bellow)
  3. Experiment with Raid Strategies:
We will diversify our raid tactics, experimenting with hashtag campaigns, quote-tweeting, and targeted account engagements. We like the idea of using hashtags like #JUPRAID or #RAIDWG, which will make it easy for users to scroll through and join the action.
  4. Collaboration with Bigger X Accounts:
Many large X accounts thrive on engagement, and we’ll leverage this by becoming their “reply guys.” Through consistent engagement, we hope to gain their attention and potentially get them involved in our efforts.
  5. Analytics and Measurement:
We will track the effectiveness of our raids through measurable metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, likes, retweets, and comments. Cadets will track their progress via a shared Google doc, and by the end of the 12-week trial, we will analyze the data to assess how each raider’s presence has grown. We will displace this trend on a chart.

What’s in it for the Raiders?
The WG will run on a 12-week trial basis. Each week, 2 “Raiders of the Week” will be selected, and they will receive a prize of 50 $JUP each.

Raider of the Week:
• Recognition will be given to those who either improve another Cadet’s X presence or achieve success on their own account.
• This isn’t about volume—it’s about quality and effectiveness.
• The same person can win multiple times.
• In the event of a tie, a randomized draw will be held to select the winner.

Budget Proposal:
• Weekly Budget: $100/week for WG leaders to simply cover time invested.
• Total Budget: $100/week x 12 weeks = $1200 per member
• Total for Two Members: $2400 for the 12-week trial
• Prizes: Weekly JUP prizes for Raiders of the Week (2 members) to incentivize participation. 50 $JUP each. for 12 weeks = 1200 $JUP.

We also propose that there be potential extra incentives based on meeting certain performance goals (to be decided by the DAO). These performance bonuses could be activated if we reach specific metrics or milestones.

Conclusion:
By approving this proposal, we will empower the Jupiter Raid Squad to drive significant growth and engagement for the project. This WG will allow us to not only keep $JUP relevant on X but also build a stronger, more engaged community that consistently supports Jupiter’s goals.
The trial phase will end mid-December, and the option to extend it into Jupuary will depend on the success and measurable impact of the WG.

Let’s show the power of the JUP RAIDERS and show why we are the best community to be apart of!

Definitely a yes from me. Raiding strategies for X works extremely well. X is the most used social media in the world currently. Most other communities are dedicated to raiding to drive engagement. Also, very modest in budget proposal.

Nice proposal fellas.

Thank mate! If you think anything needs tweaks feel free to share. Originally the JUP moderators decline this post as it was “paid advertising for Jup that we don’t engage in”

I’d like your opinion on that comment !

though new here, i’ve been through your profile here and have no doubt the dedication you’d apply to the working group.

I like the idea of amplifying Jupiter related posts. Not sure how effective shilling JUP itself will be, until more people are familiar with Jupiter platform. Everyone in Solana already knows about Jupiter. Fewer know about DAO.

So shill Jupiter to non-Solana users.
Shill the DAO to Solana users.

Id give you 12 weeks to try, since WGs are a thing now.

Also check out my new post about voting changes and let me know what you think.

Yeah, i spend a lot of time here, so why not put it to use with a measurable outcome?

Yes thats true, but if we get #JUP trending in the lead up to jupuary it could have a great impact.

Thanks mate, we really appreciate all the feedback. That was our thought too, why not use something like raids that are pretty commonly used in other communities? It’s a good thing too have here in jup too.

“So shill Jupiter to non-Solana users.

That’s actually a pretty interesting and valuable detail. We will keep this in mind for our covering strategies.:pray:

Great way of thinking. A yes from my side.

Raid and shilling good projects on social media can bring a big impact to these communitys.

I learned a project is only as good as the community bring it to an wider audience. #JUPRAID sounds good in my ears. I will use this hashtag for my next posts on X.

Bringing us all together to grow together, our way is not just moon - this is Jupiter.

We really appreciate ur feedback!
Exactly! If we don’t shill and raid the good ones, like Jupiter…what are we actually doing in this space? :))

I think this can help amplify exposure of Jup ecosystem affairs on X. The fact that this isn’t costly at all, coming from someone like @lochie2001 with a proven record of commitment & consistency in this DAO and Jup ecosystem in general, I think it’s worth considering and giving it ago.

Yeah look I was happy to do it for free, but my concern with that is that I wouldn’t have some type of collateral against me to push further.

Now Ik I’m using the daos hard earned funds, so I’m gonna make every cent worth it !

We all need something to help us stay focused and motivated toward a goal and I believe it’s entirely fair to request such an incentive. I’m glad that it’s reasonable and reflects the sincerity in what you’re aiming to accomplish.

Such a great initiative I will be there if the proposal is approve. Raiding is one of basic strategies mostly in getting users attention.

I think this sounds fun, and the proposer is a legit catdet as well

@lochie2001 , how would you mitigate spammy and low-effort raiding? In my view, if it is not handled properly it can backfire. Noone appreciates faked engagement and spammy approaches from reply guys and such

In my honest opinion, it will be as an objective discretion whether or not you are “advertising jup” vs “recruiting new cadets”. If the mission and posts are guided appropriately and with tact, so that we are not seen as flagrant advertising but rather recruitment and outreach- I think it will bode well.

I think raiding is great for getting the word out without needing to “pay for an ad” and shows community involvement. And to that I say, is the DAO not part of the community? are they not one in the same? This proposal isn’t seeking to third-party solution, it’s a solution coming from within, from people we trust that are dedicated.

TLDR; just steer the boat the down the right river with the flow of the raids, recruitment > advertising
