We should treat every cat equally, unless you don’t consider it a cat.
Jupiter has been striving to build an open, transparent, and truly trusting community.
Over the past few months, Jupiter has achieved this. However, at this moment, the community is facing a significant test.
- We should treat every cat equally, unless you don’t consider it a cat.
No cat wants to see the community divided. In the world of crypto, I believe we need to pursue our ideals while also facing reality.
Currently, the biggest conflict stems from the tension between stakers and traders.
Stakers argue that new tokens will dilute their shares, and traders contribute nothing to the ecosystem or its loyalty.
Traders believe they are also part of the ecosystem and deserve the airdrop.
I personally appreciate the PPP philosophy and believe that all cats should be treated equally.
Let’s completely set aside those arguments like *“stakers already have ASR, traders just enjoy and sell out, stakers take on more risks, traders bring in real revenue.”
Both stakers and traders have made significant contributions to the ecosystem, and no cat should be excluded.
Therefore, I believe rewards should be provided separately to stakers and traders:
Stakers are part of the community, and rewards can help strengthen community cohesion.
Traders might not yet fully integrate into the community, but rewards could help them join more quickly.
This way, our original community can become closer, stronger, and more loyal, fostering mutual trust, while the newly formed community can be full of vitality. Wouldn’t that be ideal?
- Trust is the foundation of everything, and transparency is the foundation of trust.
There has never been a truly empowered DAO in the history of crypto, and we should do our utmost to make this one a success.
Therefore, before proposing any airdrop plan, I believe the details of the airdrop should be made public, including:
Which cats will be considered
How much allocation different cats will receive
The snapshot has already been taken, and we can’t change the past. There’s no need to worry about cats manipulating data at this point to hunt for airdrops.
We should also be transparent about key questions like: Were there any Sybil attacks? Were bot accounts excluded?
If possible, providing an advance query tool would also be a great idea.
With this information, every cat can reflect: *Am I excluded from this family?
- Stop all forms of KYC—cats don’t have driver’s licenses or passports, only Discord identities.
In the crypto world, decentralization has always been one of our most cherished values.
Perhaps KYC is designed to ensure that each account represents a unique individual.
But the truth may be:
We can never truly prove that an account belongs to a unique individual.
Whales and resourceful individuals can easily acquire multiple KYCs, while ordinary cats cannot.
This doesn’t help regular cats benefit; in fact, it could harm them.
Cats don’t have driver’s licenses or passports. Cats only have their Discord identities.
- Let’s shout it loud once again: Treat every cat equally, unless you don’t consider it a cat!!!
Jupiter’s traders, JupDAO’s stakers, voters, active participants in the Discord community, as well as users of products like JLP and APE—all are cats.
Every cat should be treated equally.
Since the user base, benefits, and activity levels of each product are different, I think our focus could be on discussing the allocation for each specific type of cat.
But I firmly believe that no cat should be abandoned.
Cats may give up their own cat food, but cats who don’t receive cat food will feel sad and leave their home.
This is not selfishness—it’s a cat’s emotion.
Finally, I hope this proposal reaches every cat, so that every cat can find a home.
Thank you.
