Locked LP for days after token sale to maintain the backstop for tokens. Unlike other token sale platform, user can only buy, but cannot exit until the token sale done, for DLMM, the price range the team add liquidity will become the backstop for user, user can sell back the price range, token team can only get fee after that

This is an interesting feature, but won’t it only be an effective backstop for the DLMM pool? It won’t take long for early buyers in the DLMM pool dump their tokens onto the Orca and Raydium pools that will undoubtedly pop up shortly after launch (and during the token sale period).

This happened bef0re with a certain test t0ken that was supp0sed to be w0rthless, and it will happen with many 0ther t0kens that launch 0n LFG. S0me backst0p is better than n0ne I supp0se, but f0r h0t launches, liquidity will quickly shift fr0m the DLMM t0 0ther markets.

It’s an educated guess based 0n the fact that the test t0ken that sh0uld be w0rth zer0 was launched 0n a Wednesday at 10a ET, and that the launch 0f the 0fficial JUP t0ken will be 0n Wednesday at 10a ET. I have n0 0fficial kn0wledge, it’s just a guess.

Likely what will happen is that everyone will trade on Jupiter.

Users create regular LPs for WEN/USDC or WEN/SOL on Meteora, Orca, and Raydium. Jupiter routes volume to the best price, and the Meteora launch pool has a 10% base fee. Other pools operate within that 10%, and beyond 10% the Meteora DLMM pool kicks in like a backstop.

After 3 days, the Meteora pool is withdrawn and the organic liquidity that was established over the 3 days creates a thriving market.

You’re referring to the liquidity from the offering, right? I would imagine that anyone could still provide liquidity to the DLMM if they so choose.

it is immensely important to solve ppl problems when launching a product and like you said most people loss when a launchpad is done, because most people buy after the launchpad. This being said, the fact that Jupiter is trying to solve this adds a lot of value to the exchange.
