Can someone please elaborate on these scheduled JUP token unlocks?

  • 53M monthly for the next 3 years starting from 01 March 2025
  • 200M unlock towards end of March 2025

These are quite significant injections so I wonder if team has any plans on making sure they are put into good uses.

200million JUP is the combined amount of Good Cat and Carrot, with Carrot making up the majority. This is also the annual incentive plan and will not be fully released on March 27th.

Thanks Lochie. Not with the incoming monthly emissions as I understand. Meow did confirm in discord earlier today the vesting cliff applies to 466M tokens that were unlocked on 01 Feb 2025, as mentioned in the note from recent audit.

  • 466,666,666.67 JUP from the team’s first cliff were moved from Team Cold to Team Hot and distributed. While this is considered circulating, these team members have voluntarily agreed to lock these tokens for 2 years.
