Huge shoutout to the Jupiter Team for listening to the community and rolling out a revamped proposal so quickly! Your efforts are supercharging engagement within the DAO and showing just how much we all believe in Jupiter and the Jupiverse’s long-term vision. The Jupiverse is growing already. Thanks for all your hard work and responsiveness!
Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the feedback and come back with this revised proposal.
This does in fact reward real users, those who are active in the ecosystem and those who have shown that they believe in JUP by not only holding but adding to their holdings.
Big Yes from me!
Vote-wise, we are here long-term!
I must confess, it takes a great deal of courage to listen to the inputs of your community in key decision making, that shows an abundant leadership skills.
I think this proposal tackles every concern right from the first one. Kudos to you meow and the team. Have my most bags on $jup and I haven’t sold a single token right from the first drop,it shows how much I believe in the project.
I trust you that’s why I am always here you guys doing very hard work ,I am with yes
This is brilliant, you have my vote!
Indeed, allocating tokens with bonuses for stakers creates an imbalance in distribution, contradicting the principle of expanding and democratizing the Jupiverse. Privileging stakers further concentrates power within a small group, making it harder for new participants to join and, consequently, limiting the sustainable growth of the community.
If the goal is to build an inclusive and dynamic ecosystem, the focus should be on strategies that engage both long-time users and newcomers, promoting a fairer distribution aligned with the purpose of expanding the Jupiverse.
Nice. Now You have my vote .
Just change from NO to YES.
It’s never easy to please everyone including me , the jupuary evolves so, thanks you for being so reactive and attentive , let’s community decide and charting the long road ahead .
I voted Yes for the last vote this so this was an obvious Yes vote again as you’re looking after those long term stakers who lay the foundations for a killer platform and governance token.
$JUP for life.
Will be voting yes, as it is fair across the board. I don’t like it though that you will be looking at actual holdings of Jup. I believe a lot of new users might only have 10 jup staked since the beginning but have been using the platform a lot. I believe most new users that you wish to get involved in the Dao are in that category.
Also I think it is important for you to look at equalising voting power more, so this can evolve further to becoming a true Dao. Currently as you can see 10% of the Dao hold 40% of the voting power.
I made suggestions to this in the topic let the team decide. Good work.
Excellent summary, as usual bro. I look forward to seeing you join the CAWG.
This is a well-thought-out and responsive Version 2, which I fully support. I remain mindful that the specifics are up to the team to sort out, and besides, it is wise not to reveal too much detail. Also, as you mentioned, over the coming year, some mechanics may slightly evolve, in response to circumstances, but the core update(s) in Version 2 are sound and fair. I fully support this second vote and am looking forward to 2025 and beyond. LFG!
The team’s dedication to their work is inspiring! I’m with you
I voted yes on the first one, but this proposal is more aligned and fair to the community, I will definitely vote yes.
voted. cool to see that you incorporated feedback for the “feedback form” (cold storage wallets).
Jupiter certainly does not disappoint. I already had trust in Meow and the team for doing this the best way possible, but this further enforces my beliefs. I hope everyone can see the dedication the team has to make this fair to everyone. Can’t wait to see the further innovations in the jupiverse!
VOTED YES
The updates to the proposal are truly impressive. I recently wrote a blog outlining why I’m voting YES on the second proposal, just as I did for the first. I had hoped this new proposal would address many of the concerns raised during the first vote—and it has done so, and then some. Once my blog is approved, I’ll share the link here, as I dedicated significant time to crafting it this morning. For now, I’m casting my YES vote without hesitation.
Will there be a possibility to link wallets to profiles (like sanctum did) for people who have jup staked in multiple wallets that want to avoid being flagged as sybils?
Great work @meow @0xSoju and rest of the team!
This vote is an easy win. 87.53% votes for YES so far!
Specific Allocations & Distribution
I hope team will draw some from this community-driven allocation analysis and proposal for the specific distribution, once the vote has passed.
It includes an allocation to stakers and also matches the other aspects of the vision of this 2nd vote.
