The initial draft for the gift is 50 $JUP. We will see it definitively really soon!

Thanks for sharing this brother
Guys, did anybody listen to Kash doing AMA yesterday on discord? I heard that the community allocation would be ~10m tokens which seems way less than expected. There are many members who need recognition from my humble perspective.
We pump each other we win
Simple as
Thanks for confirmation on the link. Actually found it difficult to find the correct place to signup and am surprised it was not posted anywhere here on the forum. So nice of you guys to post it here.
I think 10m should be enough
I think there will be 500 -800 ish good cats in my opinion, probably even less if they are more strict.
With 10m
You can structure it like this
100k JUP - 50 users
10k JUP - 100 users
3k JUP - 300 users
1k JUP - 3100
Or you could buffer the others
Or we could do this
100k - 50 users
20k - 100 users
3k - 250 users
1k - 2250 users
If thatās the case - then yeah that amount would be more than enough. The thing is that there are tens of thousands of applications. I understand that Jupiter cannot reward everyone, nor that everyone deserves any reward at all, but in my humble opinion there are at least 100-200 good cats on the forum and thatās only because we are so small as a community. However, things are much different with disc and twitter where there are thousands of people who are good cats.
I believe team are seeing everyone effort in contributing to the Jupiter ecosystem nevertheless if the individual in any forum truly contributes in any way they will probably be rewarded. Good cat form is out already.
Both of your allocation suggestions are sensible. If only Ā£10 million is allocated to GoodCats, the qualification criteria should be as stringent as possible to ensure reasonable allocations, especially since other JUP allocations already encompass broad qualification criteria. Anyone whoās contributed significantly will be picked up.
This allocation is very reasonable. All the best to all good cat applicants.
I think 100k is much for being a top tie good cat 50k, is okay.
I think something like 50k, 20k, 10k, 5k, 3k and 1k is good based on my assumption.
I think a good cat allocation should look like this.
Split it up equally. If you are a good cat then thatās what you are.
Reason for this is more Jup in the hands of more dedicated members. Voting power more distributed. If you qualify and have done enough to be included then obviously you are committed.
While the idea of equally distributing to all goodcats has merit, it risks overlooking the nuances of contribution. A blanket approach might inadvertently disregard those who have consistently put in more effort but donāt hold a large Jup bag. Fairness doesnāt mean treating everyone exactly the sameāit means recognising and rewarding effort proportionately. For instance, someone who contributes once a month cannot reasonably be treated the same as someone who shows up daily or regularly and works harder. Both are valuable members of the ecosystem, but the level of commitment and effort matters, and those who do more deserve to earn a bit more in recognition of their dedication. Think thatās why you have to apply for this individually to proof your level of contribution and that was done so they can assess those applications individually and see how much you contributed as an individual so it can be rewarded as such based on whatever reward criteria they come up with like they did on swap volume etc.
Well honestly canāt argue with that.
I get your idea, but some contributed a lot more than others
And with over 10,000 entries I canāt argue saying that for example the JUP And juic boys contributed the same as someone who Helped three discord member.
While both helpfu the JUP and juice boys Obviously deserve more
Well said brother
Completely agree with your point about Fairness versus equality
I consider Jupresearch one of the deepest crevices of the Jup ecosystem.
Long, thoughtful JUP product & DAO related conversations & ideations taking place right here on this message board.
So, donāt sell yourself short
Yes itās clear that it took a lot of work to get it to this point. I think it has been very complicated to make it as fair as possible. Never been part of a discussion before that took many months to get right. Will be interesting to see the outcome.
10000 entries, donāt think itās that many. When I signed up to post the link it was like 600
The JUP team is great ā¦ i join before some months Iām more than a kitten but i think that i try a lot ā¦
