- If someone has 1000 JUP and voted for 1 proposal, and then partially unstakes and withdraws 100 JUP, will they still get the ASR reward for the full 1000 JUP on that single vote?
Answer:
They get rewarded based on 1000jup voting power for that specific proposal, because they voted first before partially unstaking the 100jup.
So, if they have partially unstaked 100jup first before voting on a proposal, then it will be auto removed, so only 900jup will be available to vote with.
- What is Partial unstaking? How does it work?
Answer:
Partial unstaking is available on the DAO site, and it takes 30 days to unstake but the partially unstaked tokens will have no voting power.
This means if you had 1000jup, and partially unstaked 100jup, the 100jup will be auto-removed and have no voting power until the 30days period is over, and then you claim it.
But, any Jup staked within this period won’t be going to the partial unstaked Jup in progress but will be added to your voting power currently available and can also be used to vote.
Note:
When Unstaking your Jup, you won’t be able to claim ASR or anything unless it’s canceled or you wait till it’s over and then proceed to claim it.
- What is Full Unstaking? How does it work?
Answer:
Full unstaking is available on the DAO site, and it takes 30 days to unstake all your Jup but with decreasing voting power of 3.33% daily till the end of 30 days period, and you will have Jup with deceasing voting power available to be able to vote on active proposals during your unstaking period.
If you have full unstake in progress. and you stake jup, it will join the unstaking phase automatically. So, If you are staking new jup to be able to vote while having full unstaking going on, your voting power will be taken into consideration and when the proposal vote ends will be taken into consideration, so if its ending in 4 days time, it will be deducted from your voting power.
If your full unstaking is ending in 3 days and a vote/proposal is live, you will have 0 voting power at the end of the voting period.
- If someone has 1000 JUP and voted for 1 proposal, but they unstake 100%, do they still receive the ASR even if the unstake is complete and JUP transferred?
Yes they still do.
Because they have participated in voting within the said period.
