With Jupiter’s recent acquisition of DRiP, and the protocol’s growing expansion into NFTs and cultural infrastructure, the time is right to introduce a unifying community identity layer — a visual and symbolic representation of what it means to belong to Jupiter.

This proposal recommends launching an official, culturally significant PFP collection, distributed via Jupiter Mobile and DRiP, to establish this identity. While it takes the form of a PFP collection, this project is not about NFTs for speculation. It’s about:

  • Building a cultural identity system Jupiter users can visibly participate in
  • Driving growth in Jupiter Mobile, Drip, and $JUP staking
  • Recognizing and rewarding early contributors to the ecosystem
  • Creating a north star for the NFT narrative on Solana
  • Generating millions in earned media from a high-impact, story-driven launch

In short, this initiative isn’t just about a mint. It’s about giving Jupiter the symbolic gravity it deserves.

2. Why Now?

Every protocol eventually reaches the point where product performance must be matched by community identity.

Jupiter has:

  • The deepest liquidity in DeFi
  • The smartest routing engine on Solana
  • A fast-growing mobile app
  • A passionate, active global user base

But what it lacks is a visual layer of belonging — something that says:

“I was here early.”
“I use Jupiter.”
“I’m part of this story.”

The timing is uniquely aligned:

  • NFT culture is dormant — waiting for something meaningful to believe in again
  • DRiP is now part of the Jupiter stack — but hasn’t yet had its breakout cultural moment

This is not a typical NFT drop.

This is a cultural passport that becomes the most visible way to represent participation in the Jupiter movement.

  • Purpose: Anchor visual identity and pride for the Jupiter community
  • Design: Reflect chaos, velocity, memes, optimism, rebellion — all core to Jupiter
  • Utility: No hype mechanics. The utility is belonging, recognition, and being early

To ensure fairness, viral growth, and community alignment, whitelist slots could be distributed in two main ways:

  • Top $JUP stakers (snapshot-based)
  • Top 2,000 DRiP users
  • Active Jupiter mobile app traders

B. Lottery Access (Open WL)

  • Remaining ~6,000–7,000 slots distributed via a gamified, transparent lottery
  • Entry weight based on:
    • On-chain trade volume
    • DRiP engagement
    • Participation in meme contests, quests, or Jupiter social missions

That’s incredible. Did not know of the drip acquisition. Please Jupiter though create some real nft’s. At the moment on drip they are only cnft.
