hi Opacks
"Surely within your sites, there is a live count. As a newcomer to Jupiverse , I am unaware of all the resources you have provided for our ecosystem. Personally, I find it interesting to see the future of Jupiverse , and I would like to know if there is a tool or site within your resources that provides the following updated or live information:
Percentage of votes by account size:
Positive
Neutral
Negative
Percentage of accounts that have never sold their Jupiters after receiving rewards and have continued to accumulate (strong holders and stakers).
Percentage of Jupiters in the process of unstaking.
Having this information would help us understand the trends better. I don’t want to sound imposing or critical; I genuinely want to show my interest in the future of Jupiter . Thank you for your response.
I am new to Jupiverse and always appreciate statistical data; they are very helpful to me. Thanks."
the budget proposal for this content creator is very good but not for this year why? because the allocation from jupuary goodcats is enough to pay content creators. and I agree more with the budget for this content creator being done next year after the last jupuary
This is super misleading, the subreddit is at 7.8K and I grew the subreddit alone to 4100+ during the 3 months I worked on it getting it up and running. I have no problem with this proposal but don’t take credit for somebody else work. I’d ask that you clarify that or alternatively, claim credit only for your actually accomplished after my departure.
I’m all in on this one. CWAG totally deserves it, they got the job done. Just take a look on Reddit and see how @Opacks handled it! He handled that shiii like a boss! Good luck and well done team!
You defs deserve more for you work you and rusty do. Fingers crossed that can be amplified with the new buget. Im sure a lot of people agree on this also!
Im not pulling anyone down on a personal level. I love Opacks. I was saying reddit as a platform isnt the best imo for crypto.
Mate, youve taken this the wrong way. I was referring to the reditt, doesnt matter if meow is running it, kash is running it, my concern remains the same. FYI i voted no for the reddit WG when it went to vote - before opacks was even apart of it i beleive.
Because im allowed to? lol. isnt that the whole point of a vote discussion?
Well the moral dilema is due you prioritise fairness or equality?
Do you give evenone the same bc its equal, despite some tasks requiring more work than others. i.e. julz being lead.
or do you make it fair based on work output, difficulty and expertise.
Dont be a yes men and have zero discussion of pros and cons.
because i’m totally new , i’m the little guy …the baby standing up with same panorama and view. Inmature and curious… trying to learn from all of you the leaders and from the good Jupcats. I liked this lesson. Learning diff topics because all of the dedication coming from you. Good night and best wishes
Thanks for the good clarification and transparency, I believe all good minded should be able to understand this and continue to support everything about JUP
Additionally after reading this, I thought what if we could send $jup like we send appreciations across platforms. People could add their wallet address and receive $1 jup. It would drive the community insane
$JUP (Dollar-JUP): experiment aggressively with creating sustainable loops of economic activity (centered around JUP) in the Jupiverse, and turn $JUP into a true community currency. → this is self-explanatory, we want JUP to continue to be the GOAT token and also become widely used in the Jupiverse
I think this concisely summarizes why I will be voting “Yes.” I think you guys have done an incredible job, and I sincerely thank you for all that you do. Both publicly and privately, you are always supporting the Jupiverse, the community, and especially the Catdets. You are exemplary Catdets that I personally try to emulate. Thank you and good luck!
Good proposal! But how can I help with regional content creation or become a Moderator for the Russian Community? How many people will be chosen for these positions, and how can I apply for one of these positions?
I have been with Jupiter for some years and would like to help farther!
first id like to thank everyone for their hard work, but metrics for this are unreliable
simply opening a subreddit for jupiter and their already large ecosystem is bound to onboard users and without comparative metrics its hard to attribute responsibility to success
furthermore catdets and hopefuls are more incentivized to interact and capturing that small initial market is easily achieved
i feel like appurciations is another failed metric.
3000 appurciations by 226 givers to 461 recipients is a very small number of people using and benefitting from appurciations, and most of the people appurciating are giving it to themselves in a circle.
imo how the appurciations disrupt the flow of the chat is not worth having the system in place. maintaining a conversation after the cats get done in VC is pointless because the chat gets spammed with a wall of the same people getting appurciated.
im voting yes, but just wanted to point these out. im not trying to discredit any individual personally
I’ll definitely be voting yes!
I’m happy to be a catdet, and not changing soon!
Any ideas or goals that will move the $JUP community forward is always welcome.
I hear your sentiment on the Appurciations and agree the numbers are not yet where we want them to be. What I will say is we have -
Not seen much gaming of these metrics, the vast majority are coming from a genuine place and contain valuable, intentional feedback.
Catdets and CoCs are currently the only ones with access to the bot. Given this, I think the 226 number is actually alright as this covers a pretty significant portion of members with this status in the dao.
We are seeing the web extension significantly broaden the reach of the tool and I believe the “amount appreciated” number will rise over the following months. In addition, this tool has been an extremely valuable tool when considering the ways we give roles and working to decentralize this process.
That all being said, I would love to get feedback on how we can make this process better.
